I grew up in southern Alabama throughout the 80’s and 90’s so finding punk was pretty much luck. there were these kids in my school who had a band(this was 94?) that sounded like nirvana but faster,when we all started high school they all had mohawks and the band sounded like early screeching weasel. I really dug them, and we were all friends and i was really getting bored with grunge/heavy metal.I moved to Oh in 96 and had zero friends that year, so I just got deeper and deeper into punk music. Wrex Cook Interview

Wrex Cook is an amazing skateboarder living in Colorado. He shreds both vert and street alike. He also helps out greatly with his local skate scene and getting kids on boards. This interview was done in 2023. What are some of the biggest changes you have seen in the skateboard industry in the last 5 years? Honestly, I would have to say acceptance. I find it incredible that skateboarding has been accepted in such a large way. I mean people can actually make a living off of it now, and we’re seeing it in the olympics. I never thought it would come this far, especially because I’ve done time for it. Who personally is your biggest influence in skateboarding?
