Thank you everybody for hanging in there and all the support!
I always look at Give Praise very differently as the years go by. I took a big look at it (and myself) when I turned 40, 2 years ago.
Give Praise wasn’t as big as I had first imagined when I started it up in 2005. Was that a failure on my part? Probably, at least half anyhow. I always want to do things my own way, and a lot of times have trouble working the way of the distributors / pr people / etc. because I find comfort in doing it my own way.
I guess I did an okay job.
I guess I have another good chunk of years left in me and the label and maybe I’ll succeed in other ways and maybe I won’t.
When I started the label, all I wanted to do was work on the label and travel around doing roadie and merch work for bands.
That’s changed over the years.
I am still all in on the label front however.
